Published feesA combined PHP 8,000 per month is free for cash-in via selected partners, and 2 per cent is charged on the excess, Maya’s cash-in page states. Compared with the GCash schedule above, which was read directly, that figure is weaker, as it comes from Maya’s own site and was not re-fetched during verification.

Maya states these as MONTHLY wallet limits. In GCash’s own statement, the ceiling is a balance held at any given time. Though it is often presented as a comparison, putting the two numbers side by side is not meaningful, as they measure different things.

The figures on this page are a point-in-time snapshot, recorded 2026-09. Limits and fees get revised by payment providers without warning, so the provider’s own page is the sole current source.

What Maya says about gambling transactions

Only general prohibitions on illegal activity and anti-money-laundering breaches turn up in Maya’s e-wallet terms and conditions, which were read directly, and no gambling clause. ‘Illegal gambling or unauthorized game of chance’ appears as a restricted transaction in its CREDIT CARD terms, a separate product, with suspension or cancellation of the card as the stated consequence. Because BSP Memorandum M-2025-029 also applied to it in August 2025, Maya removed its in-app gambling and gaming links. This distinction matters because the wallet is a separate product from the credit card, and a restriction in the card agreement does not restrict it.

How fast money actually moves

Maya settles credited in real time for wallet-to-wallet and InstaPay transfers and on the same banking day for PESONet. That speaks for the rail and not for the casino: before a withdrawal ever gets to Maya, an operator can hold it for its own review, and that review is usually the source of the waiting time.

A per-transaction cap of PHP 50,000 per day for InstaPay transfers out, and PHP 20,000 per transaction for sending to another Maya user, with both figures at the Upgraded tier applies, which is why a larger transfer sometimes has to be split.

Verification tiers

  • Basic — PHP 50,000 caps the wallet each month, and PHP 50,000 caps purchases each day. Sending to other Maya users is unavailable at this tier, and so are bank transfers via InstaPay
  • Upgraded — Account holders have to submit a video selfie, valid ID and a verified address. On the wallet, PHP 100,000 per month; on purchases, up to PHP 100,000 per day; on sending to a Maya user, PHP 20,000 per transaction and PHP 100,000 per day; on InstaPay out, PHP 50,000 per day and PHP 100,000 per month
  • Super Users — Daily limits of PHP 500,000 on purchases and on sends, and a wallet limit of PHP 500,000 per month. There is nothing published by Maya on what qualifies an account for this tier.
  • Ultimate Users — Limits run to PHP 5,000,000 on the wallet each month, with PHP 5,000,000 per day on purchases and sends. There is nothing published by Maya on what qualifies an account for this tier.

The published ceiling of A Basic account sits at PHP 50,000, an Upgraded one at PHP 100,000 per month, a Super User at PHP 500,000 and an Ultimate User at PHP 5,000,000 applies to the tier stated above, not to every account.
