The records have Pragmatic Play down for Malta Gaming Authority, UK Gambling Commission, PAGCOR — historical, and no longer current. • Malta Gaming Authority — Licensee Pragmatic Solutions MT Limited carries the number MGA/B2B/619/2018. Licensed is the status shown for the casino vertical’s B2B Critical Supply Licence, confirmed with the MGA’s own verification portal rather than Pragmatic’s site.
• UK Gambling Commission — The UKGC public register confirms that account 56015 for Pragmatic Play (Gibraltar) Limited carries the active licence 056015-R-332216-005.
• PAGCOR — historical, and no longer current — Pragmatic Play publicly confirmed a PAGCOR offshore gaming licence during September 2016. In the time since, that entire framework has been abolished by the Philippines, with PAGCOR confirming the cancellation of all offshore licences that had to expire by 31 December 2024. Online, the 2016 announcement is still there, and sources still quote it as current. It is not.

Whether Pragmatic Play publishes RTP

An RTP quoted for one of Pragmatic Play’s titles can be followed back to the studio and not to an aggregator, since Pragmatic Play publishes a return-to-player figure on its own game pages.

Per title, Pragmatic’s own game pages show one RTP, which sits at the top of a set. Operators can pick from three configurations on most titles, as independent records show — Gates of Olympus 1000 at 96.50, 95.51 and 94.50 per cent, Sweet Bonanza 1000 at 96.53, 95.52 and 94.51 — and nothing on Pragmatic’s pages discloses that the lower ones exist. It follows that a Pragmatic RTP quoted anywhere is the best available configuration, not proof of what a specific operator is running.

This matters more than it sounds. A return-to-player figure can only be trusted as far as its source, and a number passed between comparison sites with no primary source behind it proves nothing.
